Helping anybody affected by addiction
Inspired by the kindness shown by those in our local community, Share offers support and advice to those seeking recovery, and their friends and family. We provide and promote local peer support groups and activities which encourage mental well being. We also refer people to local drug and alcohol services which can give the specialist treatment they need.
We are constantly campaigning to challenge the stigma shown towards those who are suffering with addictive behaviour. We will seek to demonstrate the evidence which shows that addiction is a progressive medical condition, and to campaign to establish services which offer effective, expert and appropriate treatment.
