I became involved with Share Shrewsbury as a result of being the President of Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club in the same year that Jane was Mayor of Shrewsbury. Our club supported the Mayor’s charity, which was raising funds to support people and their families recovering from addiction. My professional background had been in the field of Trusts and Estates, and therefore I was able to help register Share Shrewsbury with the Charity Commission. I was very happy to offer my support as a Trustee primarily keeping an eye out for its finances.
